As noted in IMD’s Market Insider last week, Bloomberg LP is now on the wrong side of the US tabloids. The New York Post reported that a local unit of the AFL-CIO union is trying to organize Bloomberg’s workers because of long hours, low morale and free food designed to keep workers at their desks for longer periods.

Actually, there are two organizing attempts--one by the Newspaper Guild and the other by the Office and Professional Employees International Union.
