London Bridge News Employees Lift Threat of Strike

LONDON—The National Union of Journalists (NUJ) representing Bridge News journalists in London has lifted the threat of industrial action for now and will be meeting with Bridge News management this week.

The threat of strike action was prompted last week by Bridge’s refusal to guarantee payments to staff in Europe in the event that they are laid off.

Bridge had sent a memo to employees worldwide saying that severance packages would be provided to its employees and then five days later
