Ex-Telerate Exec To Launch Service For US Cash Markets

Cash Markets Group, founded by former Dow Jones Telerate vice president David Barnes, plans to launch an Internet-delivered, real-time market data service covering the US cash markets this week. The so-called NYquotes.com will include data from Liberty Brokerage, Spear Leeds & Kellogg, ADP and Prebon Yamane. The service has been in beta test at 35 client sites including Lehman Brothers, Morgan Guaranty and Morgan Stanley for the past month.
Real-time data from NYquotes.com is delivered to end
