Global Insight, a US provider of economic and financial data, will announce the latest version of its DataInsight data retrieval tool, today, Monday, Oct. 4.

Colette Bellefleur, group managing director of the data products group, says version 2.0 is a "huge improvement in performance and delivery. Data delivery has gone from 15 minutes [in version 1.1] to two, three or four minutes."
