LONDON--Reuters has altered the pricing structure for its global 3000 series productline for 1999. The chart below compares the 1998 pricing with the planned 1999 pricing model, with all prices in pound sterling.

The simplified structure reduces the number of pricing bands from six to three.

The result is the same price for the lower end of each band and an increase in price for the higher bracket within each band.
