When Chemical Bank shifted its 440 New York City-based traders and salespeople to a new floor at 270 Park Avenue, it turned on more than ten digital data feeds and turned off its video switch-distributed data services. Chemical said the data management system would be more cost-effective.
Ten years ago
The International Thomson Organization formed a new company called Thomson Financial Services to rationalize its delivery systems. The company was a merger of Thomson's Autex Systems and technical data international units.
