Thomson Financial’s Revenues Soar in Q1

Thomson Financial’s revenues rose 17 percent in the first quarter of 2005 due to acquisitions, as well as increased sales, the company announced last week.

Revenues climbed to $458 million compared to $391 million in the first quarter of 2004. The company also saw its fourth consecutive quarter of organic growth, while adjusted operating profit increased 18 percent to $65 million from last year’s first quarter total of $55 million.
