NEW YORK--Information providers and users are finalizing preparations for the Y2K beta test, being coordinated by the Securities Industry Association (SIA) and the Financial Information Forum (FIF).
The beta test, scheduled for Feb. 27 will serve as a dry run to the industry wide test planned for May 1, referred to as the SIA/FIF Y2K market data test.
