Our hearts go out this week to Peter Levin, principal of Display.IT, whose share price was battered last week after a previously doting public and press turned sour on the stock.

For those of you who haven't heard, Display.IT has been the media's latest Internet darling. Excitement over the company's plans to offer a low-cost, Internet-based alternative to the likes of Reuters, Dow Jones Markets and Bloomberg propelled the company's share price to a peak of 810p on the UK's Ofex exchange.
