Welsh, Carson’s McInerney Now Interim CEO at Bridge

NEW YORK--Tom McInerney, a partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, has assumed the functional responsibilities of chief executive officer at Bridge Information Systems on an interim basis until a new CEO has been appointed. The move comes less than a month after Tom Wendel, the former chairman and CEO of Bridge, notified the board of directors of his intention to resign those posts effective Jan. 31, 2001 (IMD, Aug. 21).
