Data Broadcasting Corp. Developing LINC Transition Plans

Data Broadcasting Corp. (DBC) will soon announce a new product development resulting from its merger with Lotus Information Network Corp. (LINC). DBC's parent, Financial News Network Inc., itself 45%-owned by Infotechnology Corp., acquired LINC from Lotus Development Corp. Dec. 20 (IMD, Jan. 8). Lotus Development had been considering selling LINC for about three years. Serious negotiations began in the second half of last year.
