Reuters Outsources to IBM

Reuters has outsourced a number of internal systems as well as internal application development to computing giant IBM, David Lister, Reuters' new CIO, revealed to Inside Market Data last week.

The outsourcing is part of a business transformation project that is designed to shift Reuters from a regionally driven business to one that is global and customer-focused.
