Hong Kong market data vendor AFE Solutions expects improved regional economic conditions to fuel increased demand for its flagship market data service, AFE Stock Channel (ASC), in 2004.

“The market is definitely picking up,” says Kenneth Lin, AFE product manager in Hong Kong. “Whereas before many of our clients were talking about cutting costs and shutting down operations in some of their branches, we’re now hearing about people adding terminals and maybe even opening new branches.”
