This Is the Recovery


There will be modest growth but no dramatic recovery, says Stuart Clark, president and CEO, Interactive Data Corp.

IMD: What was the biggest development in the market in 2004 and how did that affect you?

Clark: I would say there are three things. One is the speculation around Telerate. I can't say it changed our lens particularly, but it was a further example of consolidation.

For us though, the big thing is the growth in preoccupation with regulation and all the things that go with that
