Reuters Pulls Malaysian Currency From D2000-2

Reuters last week announced it would remove the Malaysian ringgit from its Dealing 2000-2 electronic broking service on June 24, honoring Bank Negara Malaysia's request to take it off the service.

When the ringgit was launched May 13, the D2000-2 service was not available in Malaysia (and still is not), but at the time, Reuters officials told IMD sibling publication FX Week that it was adding the ringgit anyway because of strong international demand for the currency pair (FXW, May 6).
