Reuters Information CEO Tom Glocer said there were nearly 60,000 Reuters Plus terminals installed. That figure translated into a 6 percent jump from the installed base of 56,500 as of June 30, 2000. Glocer voiced optimism about Reuters Pro, a new equities product aimed directly at buy-side firms: "I think it’s a pretty hot product. Its a nice niche above Reuters Plus."
