Just when we thought it had been all quiet on the acquisition front, a crazy but interesting rumour floated onto Market Insider's desk: McGraw-Hill is trying to buy Primark. But perhaps it's not so crazy. After all, Primark attempted to sell itself last year and McGraw-Hill was one of the key contenders. That fell through when Primark--which was valued at around $1.2 billion--couldn't secure the price it wanted, which insiders at the time said was too high. Although the price may be right now,
