Days before Citi ceded ownership of Quotron to Reuters, long-time Quotron customer First of Michigan Corp. jumped ship. The Detroit, Mich.-based regional brokerage late last month inked a deal to install ILX Systems Inc.'s market data service in support of its 400 users.

First of Michigan's head of communications and data processing Wayne Wright, who led the quote vendor analysis, confirms the ILX win but declines to comment further.

Other sources say the firm issued a request for proposal to ADP
