Alphacet Integrates OMD Tick Database

Discovery will enter final testing on May 1, and will be launched shortly after, says Alphacet chief executive Peter Sibirzeff. Five beta clients, including three hedge funds and one proprietary trading firm, have been testing the integrated solution since January, he says.

The integration of OneTick will allow analysts to query real-time and historical data from OneTick's database as required to construct and test trading algorithms, directly from the database via Discovery's strategy-building
