AOL Pulls Plug on Relegence Business

An AOL spokesperson says that the firm will continue to "own and operate" the Relegence business and technology, but those operations will now be focused exclusively on its "consumer offering," and as a result, the "business-to-business operations will no longer be supported."

The consumer offering refers to AOL's MediaGlow Web publishing subsidiary, which includes a range of AOL and independently branded sites. For example, users of the AOL Money & Finance and WalletPop personal finance portals
