Moody's Buys BQuotes as Rating Agencies Grow Securities Pricing

Roger Stein, head of research and analysis for the new products group at Moody's Investors Services, says the need for better valuation data became evident last summer when the values of instruments such as collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) were distorted by the market's lack of liquidity.
