DJ Realigns EMG Services, Cuts Staff
According to a posting on the Web site of the Dow Jones employees' union the Independent Association of Publishers' Employees, the cuts affect around 40 staff in the US and Canada, though a union source says the number of redundancies worldwide could reach around 100, mostly in sales and sales support-related roles.
A Dow Jones spokesperson declines to comment in detail on the layoffs, but says they span multiple job functions across the Enterprise Media Group.
