Standard & Poor's Targets Japan With Acquisition Of IFIS

TOKYO--Looking to boost its fund information, McGraw-Hill's Standard & Poor's is now targeting Japan with its acquisition of Tokyo-based IFIS.
The IFIS operation will operate within Standard & Poor's Fund Services division, which is headed by Sanford Bragg. IFIS employees will be joining the team of analysts at Standard & Poor's, who focus on all capital market sectors, including sovereign, corporate, municipal, structured, insurance and infrastructure ratings.
IFIS provides daily net asset value
