Thomson Reorganizes in Europe
ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY
Donal Smith, Thomson Financial's head of Sales and Trading in Europe, has been promoted to the newly created position of chief operating officer (COO)as part of a reorganization of Thomson Financial Europe that will be announced today, Monday, Oct. 21.
The reorganization centralizes sales, application and product management, and customer services under four top executives. The goal is to present a single face to customers and provide centralized points of contact.
