Reuters Remains Focused on STP and Data Management

Reuters dismissed reports last week that it is exiting the straight through processing (STP) arena after disbanding its Integration for Trade Management (ITM) practice and laying off the practice’s London-based staff. It also says it continues to develop data management products, which intersect with STP.

Reuters’ rebuttal was made after reports last week said it is scaling back its STP ambitions after laying off Anthony Kirby, marketing director of ITM, as well as Terry Drewitt, Martin Haines
