Thomson Buys Worldstreet Net Technology
ORGANIZATION AND STRATEGY
NEW YORK--Thomson Financial has acquired the Worldstreet Net technology assets from Worldstreet, a communications infrastructure technology provider.
Worldstreet Net, an information management platform, will be integrated into Thomson's Investment Management Group products and eventually throughout the company. Thomson has also taken on eight technologists from Worldstreet.
The acquisition comes as Thomson is trying to build a suite of products that covers the entire investment management
