Factiva Reports on Online Information Sources


Businesses are better off using fee-based Web sites for information, says a research report released last week by Factiva, a news and research provider backed by Dow Jones & Co. and Reuters.

The report, titled Free, Fee-Based and Value-Added Information Services, finds that companies often go outside of their own organizations onto the Internet to find business information and expend large amounts of time and money hunting for data that is not always relevant.
