Giles Hewson has left Reuters after 11 years to join Sagemaker. Hewson was a sales manager at Reuters, working in Tim Dennis' international business group for the UKI global sales and operations unit. Hewson, who will be opening an office in London and is appointed director of sales and operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa, a region where Sagemaker says it is seeing growth. Hewson will report to Don Williams, who recently joined Sagemaker from Standard & Poor's Platt's (IMD, May 3)
