BGC Names Savvis' Harris CIO of Data Group
BGC Partners has hired Dave Harris as senior vice president and chief information officer of the interdealer broker's market data group, responsible for managing its development and IT operations teams, and for expanding the broker's data coverage and products.
Harris previously headed network and hosting vendor Savvis' design team for financial markets solutions, prior to which he spent a total of more than 15 years in senior roles at Bridge Information Systems, Reuters and Thomson Reuters
