Markit, Hang Seng Indexes Roll Out Offshore RMB Bond Index

The index family, Hang Seng Markit iBoxx Offshore RMB Bond Index, will be calculated every Monday to Friday, and allows investors to include unrated bonds in their analysis of the investment-grade and high-yield portions of the market, the companies say.

It also includes a comprehensive breakdown of the bond universe based on tenor, credit quality, sector and size.

End-of-day closing values for the HSM iBoxx will be distributed once a day, beginning Monday, Oct. 20.
