The product captures attribution data, and risk and return data, and uses these to generate "marketing-approved, compliant portfolio commentary" that summarizes fund performance and key performance drivers on a relative and an absolute basis that can be customized for style, tone, structure and specific reporting requirements, says Stuart Frankel, chief executive of Narrative Science, adding that it will likely appeal especially to smaller asset managers responsible for managing private accounts
