KVH Builds 10 Gbps ‘Burstable' Ethernet

'Burstable' bandwidth allows clients to exceed their contracted bandwidth levels when needed.

The addition means that KVH clients signed up for lower-bandwidth services of one, three or five Gbps can exceed their contracted bandwidth ranges in bursts to transfer up to 10 Gbps of data through KVH's shared network backbone while maintaining their contracted guaranteed baseline bandwidth.
