What to Watch


Isn’t January supposed to be slow? If so, no-one has told this industry. We’ve seen controversy over the London Metal Exchange’s new data fees, a firestorm of rumors about the Merrill Lynch-Thomson Financial project, a variety of new feeds and other products, new business strategies and even delays in important projects such as Sedol. And that was just in the last issue!

Certainly 2004 promises to be an exciting year, which will be a pleasant change from the frankly dreary cost-cutting obsess
