Thomson Reuters Ups Integration Savings


Though the fall in desktop revenues during 2008 is expected to continue this year, Thomson Reuters' Markets division, which comprises the vendor's financial market data products, saw overall revenue growth last year, boosted by take-up of analytics, enterprise solutions, risk products and trade-related products.

Officials say the vendor's data is "not... a discretionary purchase" for clients, but rather "a necessity for them to run their businesses on a daily basis," and that desktop revenue now
