Industry Revenues and Screen Counts Decline

SPECIAL REPORT

NEW YORK--The major market data vendors experienced a decline in revenues and screen counts in 2001, according to the latest update of Market Data Industry, a Risk Waters Group publication, which was released this week.

The update covers global and regional sales trends for the major market data vendors in 2001. It attributes the decline to the demise of Bridge Information Systems, reduced merger and acquisition activities, a thin IPO calendar, a falloff in global volumes and budgetary cutbacks
