Credit Suisse Lightens Data Load

NEW YORK-Credit Suisse is moving applications that consume and distribute data onto a publish-and-subscribe messaging environment as part of a drive to optimize data distribution.

Credit Suisse chief technology officer Gerald Le Donne, who delivered the keynote speech at last week's North American Financial Information Summit, says that moving to pub-sub enables the bank to isolate problems and make data available sooner-for example, in situations where high query rates affect feed handler speed
