It may seem trite to describe Mike Atkin as an evangelist. But the image of him as a travelling preacher extolling the virtues of effective reference data management does seem to fit.
"These are interesting times," Atkin says. "Reference data is the final data frontier for financial firms. We have to find a new way of working - business processes, corporate culture and operations all have to change."
