Data Management Spending on the Rise

BOULDER, COLORADO - IT budgets are expected to go up by nearly 6% this year, and enterprise data management is one of the areas firms are increasingly prioritizing, according to a report on capital markets technology spending planned for 2011 by Aite Group.

Based on interviews with chief information officers about budgets, priorities, stakeholders and infrastructure efforts, Aite Group expects firms to increase technology budgets and allocate more funding to reference data solutions this year
