The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), a rapidly growing multi-billion-dollar retirement fund, had allowed its data management to become siloed over the past year, and sought to manage data in a manner that would balance speed and accuracy, according to executives who worked to transform its data management, speaking at Incisive Media’s Toronto Financial Information Summit 2011.
