Speaking with data operations executives in the industry while in London this past week for our European Financial Information Summit (EFIS), I was struck by how some of them all raised the same idea in one form or another—channelling data from its source, the issuer of a security or corporate action.
For corporate actions, in fact, such an effort is already underway. The International Securities Services Association, an industry group promoting best practices, under its corporate actions
