New capital adequacy regulation and securities identification standards are fueling a push for greater data quality as a much more important piece of data management. With data management frequently serving the goal of greater risk management, the data quality steps are being structured with that in mind, namely verification, validation and linkage. Some firms are extending those functions by setting up data hierarchies as a way to better support data management for risk management purposes. Webcast participants will learn about how the data management industry is responding to these new drivers and trying new methods.

-- What should firms be thinking about when designing a data management model to meet the new data quality needs?
-- Can stricter data quality standards go hand-in-hand with faster delivery of data that is also demanded?
-- Are new identification standards and improvements just a foundation that needs more construction to get high quality data?
