Michael Slemmer was named general manager, investment management solutions for the Americas, at Thomson Investment Software. Slemmer had been general manager for the Perascope performance measurement product, but now he's picking up the sales and marketing responsibility for the Portia portfolio management system and Open Trader trade order management program. Slemmer will also keep product development responsibility for Perascope, although Jonathan Underhill, general manager for the investment
