Although we hate to judge a book by its cover or a session by its moniker, we think STP is alive and well but avoiding the spotlight, like the financial markets' J.D. Salinger. Investment firms and the solution providers that work with them are all toiling away quietly and thoughtfully to reach STP, even if the Securities Industry Association isn't churning out STP white papers or sponsoring STP sub-committees at the top of every hour. STP moves on. Firms will reach T+1 one day and who knows? If
