Saxo Bank Hires Straessle
Danish online investment bank Saxo Bank has hired Tobias Straessle as CIO. Straessle spent 16 years at UBS as an IT executive, and was previously at Andersen Consulting, where he helped develop the online futures exchange that became Eurex. Ole Rossing, the bank's former CIO, remains responsible for the global software department and is now vice-CIO of the whole technology group. Based in Copenhagen, Straessle will be tasked with leading the development of new products
