William Harts has joined Banc of America Securities (BAS) as its new managing director and head of strategy for equities. Harts reports to Peter Forlenza, global head of equities, and is charged with electronic trading services strategy and product development. That includes algorithmic and quantitative strategies and oversight of the design, integration and deployment of technology across the equities platform. Prior to this position, Harts served as a consultant to BAS. He
