INSTINET SELECTS SINGAPORE HEAD
Global agency broker Instinet has named Nick McDonald managing director for the firm's newly opened sales and trading office in Singapore, officials announced last week. McDonald, who currently holds the position of head of Asian equities, will continue to oversee Instinet's Asian product offerings. Rafi Mohideen has been promoted to take over McDonald's Asian equities post, ex-Japan, and Toshikazu Taniyama has been promoted to head of Japanese equities
