CITI APPOINTS HEAD OF TRANSACTION

Francesco Vanni d'Archirafi has been appointed head of global transaction services at Citi, where he will report to institutional clients group CEO John Havens. Paul Simpson will assume responsibility for the treasury and trade solutions business and will report to Vanni d'Archirafi. Vanni d'Archirafi succeeds Paul Galant, who is now running Citi's North American and international credit cards businesses. Vanni d'Archirafi was previously global head of treasury
