NOMURA HIRES LEHMAN FIXED INCOME STAFF

In order to expand its European fixed-income division, Nomura will hire 150 former Lehman Brothers staff, according to officials. The hires are in the flow and solutions businesses and will add to the bank's existing credit, interest rates and foreign exchange (FX) businesses, say Nomura officials. The fixed-income units will continue to report to Zenji Nakamura, global head of fixed income.
