Burgee a Consolidation Casualty at NYSE-Arca
Joe Burgee
, a former managing director at Archipelago, left the merged NYSE-Arca group toward the end of June as a result of consolidation at the exchange, a spokesperson confirms. Burgee, who was involved in data strategy relating to the exchange's OX options trading system, left because "some of the projects he was working on were not relevant as we moved to a new platform," the spokesperson says. Sources say other NYSE-Arca staff will take overOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
