Bloomberg's New System May Ease Transition if Boss Runs for Mayor

NEW YORK: Michael Bloomberg has designed and implemented a management program that rotates nine key senior executives into and out of areas that are not their perceived core competencies.

A company spokesperson says that the twofold purpose of the Bloomberg exercise is to reduce the potential for disconnection between the various Bloomberg departments as the company grows and expands; and to encourage senior managers to identify strong deputy directors who can successfully assume responsibility
